The rear of the floor pans had rusted thin in sections so new sections were formed and welded in place this was an old repair being removed it made a small problem bigger.

Small sections made up the new inner scuttle.

The outer scuttle was repaired by building up the rusted out areas with new metal bit by bit.

The repaied outer scuttle all that was left to do was smooth out the weld beads.

Some of the timber veneer had delaminated so all of the woodwork was sent away to be repaired.

The inside was primed with red oxide first to stop a repeat of what happened.

Welding it in took a while mainly to ensure everything was correct and fitted properly .
